Thanks Jim. Right about the eyes. I used the smooth brush on the blind eye which will soon incorporate a peripheral enhancement or piece of Hardware linked to his suit.
He's too handsome to be a COG lol kidding, I just wanted to say that =p those guys are ugly as all hell.
It looks really nice! did you use the one zbrush hair tool? Dig the skin a lot! and the shading sorta makes it look like drawing from far away. Nice stuff!
Thanks Kay... Yep, the COG are pretty ugly, brutal looking dudes, but didn't want this one to be a carbon copy. I used Fibermesh, but haven't achieved the look I want for the hair. Just playing with it. The hair on top has a patterned look that I was trying to avoid. Gonna switch gears towards some Hard Surface elements on his face for his eye to make him half machine. Then I will try to build a Mech Style suit for him...
Haven't had too much practice in Hard-Surface sculpting and that is why I am doing this...for practice. I considered box modeling some of the base elements in Maya, but feel like I wouldn't be learning anything if I did it that way, so I will try to keep it all in ZBrush.
Great character in the face man, this guy has been through some stuff. Nice work on the features. The spheres you used for the eyes seem a tad small
