stopped at 1hour

I'm a bit embarrassed this took me an hour to make. I'm looking to have a suitable skull to speedup my bust to head sculpting process with some underlying bone structure. This will more than likely be a constantly evolving model. Critiques are greatly anticipated!

  1. I havent compared it to reference yet, but the things that jump out at me are the eye sockets could move up in the center giving almost a sad look, the nose hole is to large and to low, the ridge on the upper front side of the temporalis seems slightly shallow, while the forehead seems slightly steep from a side view. the skull also could be a bit longer front to back. the jawbone has a socket that is smaller, but higher than the point that is forward of the socket. I think your point goes to hight and its to narrow. the teeth don't look quite right, the back upper and lower molars should sit on each other and then the front teeth go out in front. I realize this is just blocked in, but it doesnt seem to have the right spacing that you are going to need. For an hour, I think it cme out great.

  2. Looks really cool and complete for an hour. Not without it's flaws, but Jim already went over them!

Hey Jim, remember the evil skull I sculpted back in school? I still have it around =p makes me want to add a leather jacket and chain and name it the Ghost Rider hah.
